Well I finally received the steering damper I bought off Ebay. It only took a month and a half to get here. He's lovin' the feedback :fu: Anyways, I have a 00 GSXR 600. The damper is off 98 750. It didn't come with any hardware and I can't figure out how it attaches. :hammer: Does anyone have a closeup of a damper on an SRAD?? I'll go to the dealer and look at 'em later but I'm impatient and every shop is closed. Thanx.

I found the first attach point on the left side of the frame. I almost ground that off during frame polishing. Good thing I left it!! Where does it go from there? It looks like I need a brace or something.

Scratch this entire thread. The dumbass on Ebay sold me the wrong year after many questions to him and a dealer. People just suck sometimes. I left it in the trash at the dealer today when I was asking how it goes on. It turns out the stock ones are only rated for 60mph. WTF!!!! Who the hell rides at 60mph???!!! Maybe my grandmpa, but even he is a little impatient!! :bringiton Oh well, at least I only paid $25 for it.

go ahead and buy a scotts. it mounts to the top of the tripple tree, under the steering stem nut. about 4 bills but worth every cent. and almost crashproof. alot of the other types take a beating on even some low speed crashes.
