whats up guys thanks for all the responses regerding mileage but my concern today is i use the suzuki oil now and id like to switch to synthetic but a person that works at a bike shop told me that the oem oil is better because synthetic causes seals to fail basicly siad that synthetic oil makes ur bike leak so if u run synthetic or have better knolage of the oil please let me know also how long have u been runnnin synthetic thanks mean while keep it at least on 1 wheel

you can search for tons of threads on oil and what people run. I personally haven't run anything in my bike BUT fully synthetic oil. I run golden spectra or castrol. Never had a problem and everyone I ride with runs fully synthetic too. Don't know what that guy is talking about.

The guy is full of BS! Fully synthetic oil is fine for bikes, just avoid those that use friction reducers like "Molly", they have been been known to cause some clutches to slip. Do a search on oil and you'll learn more about oil than you ever wanted to know.
