I know there have been threads about the Quality and Customer Service that some have received from this company.
Here's my experience with them. Last week I changed the oil and was under the bike leak checking and noticed that I had an exhaust leak at one of the seams. I sent Elana an email and told her about it and ask her if there was some way to seal the leak. She said there is really no way to do it and let her know and she would send a return # and send me another one I sent her another one today and ask if she had them in stock and if she did I would just pull it off and drive up and pick it up. She got back to me in like 5 min. said she had them and she would be there all day. Pulled it off and off to Van Nuys, got there and she just walked out to the shop and picked up a new one and handed it to me along with a new clamp and some other bolts.
NO QUESTIONS ASK. I have had my can for like a year and a half now. This kind of customer service is hard to find these days. I really like my Taylor Made Can and think it looks and sounds awesome. I know some of you think its over priced but with service like this its hard to beat.

It's good to hear that even in hard times like we're seeing now, companies don't mind losing a few bucks to keep a customer happy! In the long run it'll help them out when people hear about how good they treat their customers! Karma can be a bitch but in this case I think it'll help !

I've heard Taylormade pipes on a few different bikes at the shop and the K8 1000 sounds the best BY FAR. It's a straight-through design with a single chamber that gives a real nice throaty sound. You won't be unhappy, it has the tone, volume AND looks.

I was thinking about putting one of there slip on's on my K7 750. I love the look and I like how there's maps on the PC. I was wondering if anyone has had any exp with putting an aftermarket header on this set up to complete a full system. Be nice to sqeeze every ounce of hp as possible out of my exhaust. Thx guys.

Taylormade Exhaust

Jet,

I get paid Friday and confused between ordering the TaylorMade versus Yoshimura R77 FULL exhaust. Since performance & appearance are the deciding factors, what are your thoughts?

**Keep in mind, we have the same color K7 1K bike. Also, where did you get the BLUE front fender & rear hugger?

NoBills..

here ya go

help

hey can you or any one else help me with a question? i received a taylormade full system exhaust for my 08 gsxr 600 as a gift from a friend. During installation i noticed there is no threaded hole in the header pipe for the o2 sensor, do i have the wrong setup kit or am i missing something, the mechanic said without the o2 the bike will run gutless / rich and backfire frequantly. Is there something i'am missing or is there something i can do to fix this problem, i really dont have $1200 buck to buy a full system exhaust. Any help would be great full.

Don't know if you have gotten an answer about this but here goes.

I was looking at there site and with the power commander, the bike is fine without the O2 sensor. Don't think its good to run with the exhaust and no power commander.
If you watch the install video there is a plug that you install into the O2 sensor connector. You also have to remove a pin on the ECU harness. Do you have a power commander with the taylormade map installed on it. That is how the O2 sensor is not needed.

to view the video or to download the mapping for the power commander go to http://www.racetaylormade.com/tmpages/suzpages/S8_600-750.html

Hope this helps.
