Hi guys,
Can someone please tell me where I can purchase blackout out (not smoked) indicator lenses for my black K6 750???

Everyone I have contacted either doesn't know where I can get them from or only stock smoked ones.

Someone please help me.......

I'm pretty sure that all of the blacked out lenses I've seen are custom. Most people use a hobbiest tinting spray and give their lenses multiple coats until they achieve the desired level of tint. Then spray some clear coat and "whalla" you have some blacked out lenses.

I know hobby shops have the stuff pretty cheap but some people go with bigger cans and more expensive stuff and you can always use ebay.

ebay search with a bunch of results for tinting spray

NHT NightShades is what most ppl use. This is not something you can usually just buy from a local parts stores. Unless you have like a speed shop. You know something for muscle cars and off roading vehicles. The can is like $13. You can order it from Summit or JEGS but the charge extra shipping because it is a Aerosol Product. Or like the first responder said check with local hobby shops and see if they have Translucent Spray Tint. Take your time when you spray. Even light coats are the trip to a good finish...

Don't mean to jack your thread, but it seemed like a good time to ask.

Does anyone know if tinted lenses are illegal in California? I've been wanting to do this but was told it was illegal so i've done it yet. Any info would be awesome!!:D

I haven't been back to California in a while but I'm pretty sure tinting your blinkers is okay. I think the tinted headlights is what the law is for. I'll check around and get back to you.
