Got a new helmet and I don't like wearing sunglasses under them. So what would look better: Mirror (silver) or a dark tinted shield?

i like mirror. i got a spectra mirror on my shoei and i can see fine at night and its nice enough to have that look where people cant see inside. it also does a good job with the sun as well

basically what I'm looking for....kill the sun enough I can stand it without sunglasses and not let people see in...lol

Either one will do that. I would go with dark tint though because u got a skull on it - stick with the theme and go dark:thumbup:

I have a mirror shield but I would say that a dark smoke will do what you want and look good with your helmet.

i think both would look good, the mirrored one wont be as dark but will still do what your looking for.

Nice lid by the way! I almost got the blk/red one but got a steal of a deal on the new Icon burn baby burn.

i have a smoke shield and i had a mirror one, the only reason that i have the smoke one now is bc i got it for free so i figured why not.. i liked riding at night with the mirror one more than the smoke..and both do great in the sun.. if you go mirror just go straight crome to stick with the color scheme

HJC..mirrored at night...ok.....Shoei mirrored at night ..ok(so so)....Arai mirrored at night...too dark (very dark). Im talking about the iridium shields , not smoke ones.

/thread..i have a shoei with the spectra mirrored shield and its badass...no one can see you and its great at keeping the glare out.

and another thing to think about, is if you go with the tinted what will you do if your out and the sun goes down? i dont think you would really want a tinted shield. i know i wouldnt. so go with the mirrored

i have a light smoke for my shoei, it works fine in the day, unless the sun is right in your eyes... but there are no problems with it at night

i keep it on day and night, best for both situations

i am wanting a mirror shield just cause they are badass tho

Ok, so it's not just me. My last mirror shield looks like a spider web. It's scratched to hell.
