Im debating cutting the cf can on my bike. Opinions? I have looked thru alot of threads here and just wanting a 2nd or 3rd opinion on the look / sound (mostly look).

Would it look better like I'm thinking?????

It feels super long to me, and kinda kills the look for me to be honest.

Im thinking cutting it down so the badge touches the exhaust hanger, or maybe more.

I'd cut it down to about 12" and if the hanger is over the badge then I would cut the hanger jst above and below the badge...

i would cut it down so the end cap is like 3 to 5 inches away from the hanger.

The shorter pipe mod

The shorter you make it, the louder it gets. Cutting it down gives your bike a look and sound all its own. I say go for it. Heres a pic of mine. It was cut in half, and the badge was relocated. you can also get a hanger from another year. My bikes an 05 1000, and the hanger is from an 05 600. The hanger is about a 1 1/2 inches farther back than stock. Just some options for your mod.

I just noticed you have an 05 600, a header from a 1000 will fit that bike. Its titanium, and then you have the options for slip ons. I have an extra one if your interested. Once again, good luck

Cut it...I have the same bike with the stainless exhaust...it's about the length of the badge.

My CF TRS is roughly 12" now, sounds better and looks better now. Cut it for sure.

Cut that sum bitch down, it adds a unique sound.....I luv it! If you do I recommend using a dremel, it cuts very fine. Or you could but mine that I am selling in the classifieds...
