Hi all.

Looks like I'll have to get to work on my bike. I had it on the dyno over the week and it clarified what I already knew which is that my bike jumps out of gear in 2nd gear at 8000rpm (obviously worn forks/dogs) and also I'm down about 10bhp at the back wheel.

Was thinking of parting ways with the bike and moving her on to someone else to solve but I'm getting the idea in my head now that I'll tackle the problems myself.

I've heard I can replace the transmission with the same gear from a GSXR 750/1000 K4 and it works better can someome clarify this if possible?

Also what tools will I need to take the engine and do all the stripping with (I've a lot of tools anyway) but just to be precise.
