Hi all
i have been looking for ways to install a tre mod on a k6 gsxr600 and need some info. I need to know what the wires are from the ecu to the Gp indicator if anyone has this info. Or a diagram for the complete job. I have done a search on the forum but nothing i could find seems inclusive except that some people dont beleive the results of a tre mod. I am a dyno operator in england and my findings were this for all to see when not using a tre.

sorry i have tried to post the image but am having trouble will get back to it but tricking the ecu into 5th gear is well worth while

sorry there is the link now to the dyno sheet

the blue power line is done in third gear and the red one done in 5th with no tricks or nothing both at 100% throttle almost 10hp in places are seen this isnt noticed as much as its a lower gear to the rider. Other things happend in the ecu also with compensations for gears that affect fuelling so when fitting a pc or similair device its always best to use a tre to lock it in gear with set of compensations adjusted for that gear.

the above bike had a set of v stacks a hybred yoshi/ aky full system and power commander and a few other mods and was one of the best k6 600s weve seen.

the tre mod itself is very simple just messure the resistance for 5th gear then cut the wire and solder the resistor across for about 5pence but i have a customer wants to keep his gear shift indicator the diagram i have only shows the three wires from the gp sensor with i think the pink back to the ecu the gear indicator is fed via a bunch of wires from ecu to clocks without dismantling the clocks id like to find out what wire controls the gp indicator at the clocks.

cheers
