do all of those figures really make a difference? they are marginal at best for EVERY single bike. Certainly not enough difference for a rider to be able to get on one and go....OMG....this i SOOOOO much faster than the other bike. We are talking .2 seconds differences in some categories.

ride what feels comfortable to you and what you feel is a better balance of all features (braking, speed, torque, cornering, etc)....and for me that happens to be a gixxer, but....maybe not for others.

I think these tests are stupid anyway, since there is this big monster called consumerism and marketing. Money rules all.....and these tests were done by riders....and humans arent perfect. maybe that marginal difference isnt necessarily a standard for ALL production bikes.

The 2005-06 GSXR1000 Did an actual Top Speed of 186 and had more to go when unlimited................

Seems manufacturers are Not Producing as Powerful Machines as then.....for whatever reason.

The BHP has gone down also.......

I always tell people the Best GSXR1000 Ever Made was the 05&06 and the 2003-04 had the best Frames before the Cast JUNK was produced!

trueth be told who cares about 1 tenth of a second unless you are drag racing you will never have a clue about it. but if you look at every aspect of the engine the gsxr is the fastest in every area that matters to me.

Every year a different publication comes out with these performances numbers, it doesn't make to much of a difference because suzuki has had a lock on sales, performance, racing, and consistentcy for years.
Suzuki is unmatched when it comes to these areas:arsenal

 most likely the reason the kawi didn't rank higher. they don't pay for rateings :D im really surprised it didn't do better in the motor tests, maybe they had a dud :headscrat
