I have had my bike now for about 2 months, and I have another question. What is the typical riding RPM that you guys have just riding around town. In my vette, I am usually never getting out of second, and lucky to be in third around town, and my RPM's are around 3-4000. On my old Harleys I would stick around the same. I know these bikes are made to red line around 11 and sometimes more and simple math would lead me to believe that riding around at 5-6000 would be ok. It just sounds like I am winding it out....

I find it comfortable to ride at around 4k, and it sounds ok too, but I wanted to know where everyone else is riding. 40 mph, 4th gear, ~4k (05-750). Sound right?

on my k7 600 i usally ride around town in 3rd and im doing around 35 mph and the tach is in the 4000-5000 range. and thats with my bike geared +2 in the rear.

Allwais between 5k and 9k but that depends on you if you want to be at 10k or 12k its ok too but is more stress to the engine.

HAH. That's kinda where I have been... but It sounds that I am about right at 3500-4500. Thanks guys.
