i have a 01 gsxr 600. does anyone know for a fact that a 03 gsxr 750 headlight and upper fairing will fit on my bike? i read that 01-03 parts with 600-750cc motors should all be interchangable, but does anyonw know for sure? a fast reply would be very helpful.

I also have a GSXR 600 K1 however i have a slightly different problem, i am not sure what parts are needed or are interchangeable. I am unsure if i need a rectifier (or regulator) or the dash board as i am planning on using the engine for something else? Are all the parts necessary to actually get it running? I have a CDI on the way and i have almost all of the sensors and secondary ECUs but i dont want to damage anything have to replace it.

You don't need the gauge cluster in order to run the engine, but you would want it for the tachometer if nothing else. You will need the complete electrical system, including the battery and voltage regulator, airbox and sensors. You will also need to jump the clutch and kickstand switches.
