Hey peeps,

Is there a good, easy to follow instruction guide to install velocity stacks?

I've ordered some and they're on the way and i wanted to know how to put them in straight away.

When i was considering them i came across someone saying it does involve taking off the entire air box. So that would involve dealing with all the hoses, sensors and such attached to it.

Sounds like it would take an hour or so depending how many times you have played around under there.

i got the factory pro ones took about 45 min to install. take the whole gas tank off that way you have lots of room to work

the stacks that are in the air box... how are they secured in there. they appear to be glued/molded in.

they got glue holding them in just take the clamps off the bottom and pull them out from the top if you need to use a screw driver to pry them loose:thumbup:

Its worth it to takeoff the tank to do this. The little clamps the FP stacks come with are a pain in the ass to tighten unless you have some room. Just make sure you position the clamps where they are easy to get an allen wrench to since you will have to take off the stacks when ever you need to take off the airbox(plug changes etc.)

Damn man you sure like the :headscrat huh? Anyways... changing your vstacks isnt going to add alot of hp or anything. I noticed the bike seemed to pull a little harder in the midrange.

Do a search on them, there is heaps of info on whether they work.

Now back to my original question, does any1 have an install guide???????????????????
