been looking on the web to try and track down a head light conversion to replace my stock headlight on my 2007 GSXR 1000 K7,I've looked at a few uk companys who supposed to sell them but nothing listed on their web site..??? The bike pictured is a k5/k6 1000 gsxr and i need one for a 2007 gsxr 1000 so can any one else know where i can get a headlight conversion like this one or similar as i dont want to replace the nose cone like on other one's i've seen on the web just the head light if any of you have info on who supply's one like it can you post a link on here...thanks....:thumbup:

Thats a custom job from start to finish....nothing you can buy off the shelve. He posted it somewhere on here a while back....I'll try and look it up for you.

That looks like a k3/4 1000 in the picture not 5/6?

i think your headlight cover looks way nicer then whats pictured
.... maybe its the front end of the bike i dont like for that year

bikestyle uk made it for him,i've dropped them a email and waiting for a reply i also remember cresent suzuki endurance bike having them aswell but nothing on the cresent web site,im going to phone them in the morning to see if they sell them or not for the k7 1000,i've seen a few home made custom ones but nothing of the shelf yet..???

looks to me like it came off a ducati 999, just get a nose piece off a ducati and cut it to fit in your headlight housing, easy as pie, the hardest part will be making the mounting spots on the inside, but a little bit of nicely placed epoxy will do the trick, be creative, you'll appreciate it more, call some cycle salvage yards and the piece should be cheap, almost free if its cracked where the fairing mounts on the bike

that is for the earlier k5/k6 1000's as i spoke to russ yesterday at bikestyle uk and he said the tooling will cost too much to make one for the k7/k8 1000 just for one but if there was a big enough demand and he was'nt as busy as he is then he would possibly make one for the newer k7/k8 1000 bikes......:thumbup:
