My bike seems a little high on the rpms at 65.Running almost 6100 rpm.Is that too high?My bike is a little on the old side and was wondering if this would hurt it too bad?

It would depend on what size & year your bike is & what gear you are in.

92 model errr 6is and in 6th gear.

I ca't say for sure, but that doesn't sound terribly high to me. On my last three 600 supersports (03 R6, 05 and 06 GSXR 600s) when the speedo reads 65 the tach reads between 5500 and 6000.

I have a K8 600 with a -1 front sproket & speedohealer. At 65 in 6th ill be tacking 6500.

Its kinda weird...as long as im in 6th gear I can tell the speed im going just from looking at the tack. It holds true 40-100mph. I havent tested it beyond that. Im guessing if it does hold true all the way to redline then i guess my top speed would be 160mph.

Lol my 750 is only tacking 5500rpm at 75mph. Stock gears.
