i want to get a short exhaust for mybike and found a nice m4 for a 05-06 1000 and was wondering if i got a header off ebay for an 05-06 1000 and put it on my 05 600 if it would fit? anyone try this?

I don't think so. 750 & 1000's used to be interchangeable but never compatable down to 600. Different spacing between holes, hole sizes and physical wrap around the bike to the rear.
