Would you still wear a helmet if you rode a cruiser/Harley?

I think I would, maybe just not a full face.

It's not the law in Indiana, but I would definitely wear one. I'd never get on any bike without protection.

I always wear a full face, no questions asked. A bike is a bike, the full face is there for protection, and bikes...whether sport or cruiser, do not hold prejudice. They'll smash your head both the same.

I would wear a full faced helmet no matter what kind of bike I rode. I friend of mine has riddin' a Harley all his life with a peanut shell helmet and a good friend of his went down with the same helmet, grinded up his face pretty bad. The next day my buddy bought a full faced and has worn it ever since.

Id wear full face no matter what bike im riding. But i do agree a full face looks like it doesnt belong with a cruiser so it would have to be all black.

:shifty Hell yeah I would! I race motocross too and have been down way too many times.....and dirt is a lot softer than pavement or a cager. I"ve torn up several mx helmets and my street helemt when i layer my bike down last summer. I would be dead or a vegetable right now if it weren't for wearing a helmet.

Yeah, that's probably the best way to look at it for sure

Never ridden a cruiser bike before but I would still sport a full face helmet. I can't imagine going 70mph and having a bug, rock, trash, or even the wind hitting my face.

I got into a little debate about gear, not just helmets, with a Harley rider who is sort of a friend of mine. He said he didn't all the gear (full face helmet, leather/armor jacket, gloves) that sportbike riders needed because he didn't go as fast. I pointed out that we both went 60 - 70mph on the interstate. He said it didn't matter.

I offered to push him out of a moving car at 40mph with just his vest and half-helmet on and see how it felt. He declined. But he rides on the interstate in just that all the time.

I owned a cruiser for a number of years. I always wore a full face helmet.
My cruiser friends would make fun of me sometimes, I would just show them my helmet from a crash at the track. The chin piece was cracked and ground down to the base material. That would have been my face in less than a full face helmet.
