my 01 gsxr 1000 is giving me crap startn. it ran great 4 months ago when i started it. i put stabil in it in the fall too. it has spark, it has power, its just not gettn gas. i sprayed gas directly in the intake stacks & it will start for a couple secs. fuel pump is workn fine.

i can't imagine that the gas went bad. i tried startn it for a hrs tryn differnt things but no luck. this is just my type of luck. wtf

Sounds like fouled/stuck injectors or a plugged/bad fuel filter.... Did you run it for a few after adding the Stabil to it?

Last thing done is generally the first thing to check.Drain the tank completely put in more gas and run her. You may wanna put in some more plugs. your looking into n20 so go with colder plugs:thumbup:

i put the plugs in less than 1000 miles ago. i ran the bike prob for 20 min o the way to my buddys to store it. i plan to drain the tank & see what happens.

Water plays heck on injectors. Even if you have a ton of additives in the fuel water will still get in if repeated cool and warm periods or just moisture is present. The fuel stabilizer isn't a miracle to prevent water it just mixes with the water so it isn't straight water. that is if the stabilizer had the water cutter in it. So instead of just water you end up with gunky water. Flush the system and see if it solves the problem. There is also the amount of stabilizer you added which might of been a little too much but eh. Drain and refill and good luck getting going again.
