I have a 2008 GSXR 750 and I put a PC III in it and I bought a X-TRE and the guy at my local bike shop said that I should not put the X-TRE on it bc it makes the throttle have too much "pop" he said that with it on there the bike would be too hard to control. So my question to you all is...is this a bad idea or not? I'm a newish rider, I have under my belt is 1/2 of a spring and a summer under my belt, about 1,800 miles on the bike total(I was traveling alot so couldn't ride as much as I wanted to)

So let me know what ya think, def appreciate your opinions!

You'll definitely notice a difference in those first three gears. The TRE will give you more torque which translates into bringing the front end up easier so maybe he just has your safety in mind. I dunno. Maybe just ride it the way you have it for a while longer until everything is second nature and then try to boost your ponies/torque.

This is a very commonly asked question. I will tell you nicely before someone else does...Use the "Search" feature and learn what a TRE actually does and what a PCIII does. With in the tons of post on here already about this topic you will find your answer. Don't be lazy and wait for someone to give you the answer. Do a lil research you might learn something...That's just my 0.02 worth..
