i have a 2004 gixxer 750. it has approximately 400 miles so far and i just purchased a polished bolt-on yosh. canister. am i gonna have to place a power commander or remap the biker after i install the exhaust. i have heard that the bike might begin to back fire.help me out with some facts....

Search around, this question has been answered no less than 10 times in the last few months.
Yoiu dont HAVE to install a PC for anything, you can get the stock ecm remapped.
You dont HAVE to remap for a bolt on exhaust, but it is recommended, and you will pick up a couple HP,not as much as a full system, but it will run smoother and gain a bit of power.
I always recommend a fuel management computer.
