I just purchased a 1987 GSXR400 GK71. Any idea where I can get a service manual for it? The bike has a single head light which any information I can find says 86 was the only year with the single head. It has import papers calling it a 1987? As I understand it was originally in Japan, then exported to the UK and finally to America.

Sounds cool. Should be a manufacture date/stamp on it.
Also- look up the VIN # online- as all the digits usually mean something about the bike.
You can do a search online for a free service manual- should be free for a bike of that age.
