I’d recommending getting a copy of the factory service manual as this will have a full wiring diagram.

Also, watch a few videos of the bearded mechanic on your favorite video streaming service to get an idea of the trouble shooting steps they take with barn find bikes.

I believe I found what hopefully turns out to be the issue, currently has no rectifier

 

That's not a 2002 gsxr600. Maybe like a 1992?

Title and body match, maybe engine doesn't? Idk how to check this stuff. Maybe if it had the plastics on?

 

That’s pre-SRAD so I’d guess it’s an oil burner.

Yeah, I'm not really sure myself.
Did a bit of googling, and i think it may be a GSX 600F.
Possibly 2002.

Update, she's running. Can't go full throttle tho she bogs

 

It's probably fuel related. Clean out the Fuel Tank. Check for rust. Clean or replace fuel filters.
Check Petcock is functioning. Check for bent fuel hoses. etc..
Put in fresh fuel.

Is this gravity fed, or does it have a fuel pump?

It may also need the carburetors cleaned if it has been standing for a long time.
Check for cracked vacuum hoses between the Carby's. Check for cracked Intake Boots.
