My least favorite in that wide range of dates is the 04-05 600 and thats based on looks alone, and they dont look bad at all its just my least favorite. I have a soft spot for the look of the 00-03 and 08+ is sexy. The only ones that would have an "issue" to look out for is the 06-08(and a few hear and there above) have issues with the R/Rs going bad but there has been recalls for most to help with that and even if not the replacement aftermarket parts are cheap and easy. There is also a brake MC recall for any of them after 04 I believe.

ALL GREAT bikes. Just take your time and pick the best one for you!

Also GREAT job progressing through your bikes. Good to see some one do it right. Would love to hear how you think it helped you as a rider.
I agree 100 percent on the 00-03. Nice wide body with good lines.

2010-2011. That's based on the forums. You just don't see a lot of problem threads for these years. 2006 introduced the narrower rider position and it's huge. I love my 05, but the 06 and newer are much more rider friendly. With a 6k budget, you should be able to find something as new as a 2015. If I were in your situation I'd search 2010-2015.

I have to bleed my front brakes every few days and I heard there was a recall on the 04-05 GSXR's and I'm wondering if they will still replace mine...
Other than that I have no issues with my 04 600
Just call/go to any authorized Suzuki dealer. They'll run you Vin and see.

That is exactly the symptom that the recall was meant to cure.

You can easily tell if the recall is already done by noting the position of the fluid reservoir attachment to the master cylinder. If it out the side of the M/C it's the old one. The new M/C has the hose out the top.
