I never have attempted the exact swap I believe it’s the same 1000 frame from 02-03 and should bolt in. As far as the wire harness and ecm it should be similar also .

 

You are not very specific in your question . Are you attempting to swap 1000 to 1000 or a 1000 to a 600 cc bike?

 

Good question. And the '02 and '03 1000's are different generations, no? I don't know how much they changed between the 2 years, but...
