Did your bike come with a tool kit? If so then there should be a tool in there to get it off, it has a round end with a handle on it to break the nut. Mine come with one anyways, I also bought a socket too but cant remember the size. I wanna say it's a 23mm but I'm not positive for the one on your bike..

i have a tool kit frm a k4 750 its the same thing if u want to buy it.

 

Usually 36mm (1 7/16")

 

Is that the same for a k6 1000? cuz i hate that little tool that comes in the kit

 

just walked in my garage, checked, its definitly a 36mm,

 

whoops, no idea where i got 23mm from... lol, may bad
