Hi All, 1998 gsxr600W

The Vacuum Fuel Valve has 2 connections, the larger is fuel , the smaller is vacuum to operate the valve,

Where should the vacuum be drawn from ?

In my manual it looks like its drawing from the port underneath the carbs,

I just bought my bike and its currently connected to the small tube thats connected to the 2 solenoids that run up into each of the carbs

I have one crankcase breather connected to the airbox, and the port underneath the carbys also running into the airbox,

Is this wrong?

I googled the heck outa this question and found out that the 98 has these solenoids that run off vacuum from the airbox,
mine is connected wrong,
I will reconnect these solenoids to the airbox and connect the fuel valve to the port on no.3 cyl

My 89 doesn’t have he solenoids. I had made a video of where it all goes but it won’t help you. The main vacuum source is the boot on cylinder 3.
Thanks mate, it was all hooked up wrong, no wonder it wouldn't run right,

so ive put port 3 vacuum to fuel valve and the solenoid pipe to the airbox, all good ,

both ends of the adapter piece were falling apart ,
I’ve cut the ends off but now it doesn’t fit the smaller tube,
So I’ve pushed the smaller tube into the air box and used the adapter to go over it in original spot and clamped it gently so it’s like a sock and will stop tube from falling out of air box
