On my old aircooled bike with the crankcase breather vented to air through a filter (sorry EPA), you can tell the exact moment the engine reaches temp to boil the condensation out. The smoke comes pouring out the breather for a couple minutes and stops.
Surprisingly, at a little above idle, it might takes 10 minutes or more for the engine oil to get hot enough.
Shut it down before that and even more condensation just sits in the crankcase.
This is something I always keep in mind at the track on trackdays. Starting the bike and rolling up to pit lane barely gets the oil warm. And then people will shut it off and wait. Hammering it as soon as you get on track is not the best thing...
