After got a 03 cbr954 motor rebuilt it and completely rebuilt the bike.

After completion put on a 03 r1 tail section, looked so much nicer

OK guys day 5. New subframe came in I installed it hooked up the batt, wired the hid in so it's ready to go. I ended up doing hid for low and halogen for hi and hid off on hi. Easier that way.
Now I just wait for more parts to come in.

 

Just ordered the fairings all black. Should look killer. I also just powder coated all the rear sets and such in semi gloss black.

Got the tank and solo cowl in primer and ready to be shot. Im gonna wait till a day it's raining to cut down on dust and bugs as I don't feel like making a paint booth again just for 2 parts.

 

Hey man this looks like an awesome project. I have a project of my own and i need some serious help... Mind helping me out. I have a 2001 gsxr 600. I tried to install a mcct and i ended up screwing up the timing. So i went back and redid the timing and used my stock cct, it made the worst sound ever when it started and then it shut off own its own. then I went back again I noticed the timing was off, redid it again and check it again and again.. used assembley lube on the camshaft bearings on the head and on the caps.. and it idled fine then 2 minutes into the idle it started smoking a bit then another minute or so into it it made a horrible sound.. the sound is very similar to turning the ignition key to the start on a car when the car is already running. can anyone explain to me what i did wrong and I can fix it???? please I need some serious help. Any help Thank you....

I bet that '96 CBR didn't sit long with a for sale sign on it. It's amazing what nice body mods can do for resale values.

Well guys IM still waiting on the fairings to arrive. And then she will be assembled.
Shes on the back burner for now as I'm building my competition durango up which is almost done so gsxr will get some love again. Gettin back into sound competitions.

 

Ok guys fairings arrived today. They fit pretty well more pics to come tomorrow. Still need to paint the tank and solo cowl.

 

OK guys today I finished mounting the fairings. I also painted the gas tank and solo cowl. Letting it cure then shes going together. Still need the air box sensors but I seem to be missing one of the connectors so trying to figure that out.
